AIKM to protest all over the country tomorrow over Lakhimpur Kheri killing of farmers

The All India Kisan Mahasabha (AIKM) will hold rallies all over the country tomorrow and will burn effigies of Modi-Yogi governments, to protest against the killing of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri by running cars over them.

AIKM national secretary Purushottam Sharma said in a statement issued tonight that AIKM UP state secretary Ishwar Prasad Khushwa, Krishna Adhikari, All India Farm and Rural Workers Sabha national president Shriram Chaudhary, Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) leader Omprakash visite Lakhimpur Kheri to study the situation. They also visited the hospital, where those injured after the cares were deliberately run over them, have been admitted.

Another team led by AIKM national president Rulad Singh Mansa, national vice-president Prem Singh Ghelawat and national secretary Purushottam Sharma will visit Lakhimpur Kheri tomorrow to meet the protesting farmers and look at the situation there.

AIKM has demanded that Ajay Mishra Teni should be sacked as a minister and that a murder case be filed against his son Ashish, who alleged drove one of the cars over the farmers.
