BJP not keen on creating jobs in HP: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday lashed out at the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and said the party doesn't have any intention to provide employment. In her address at a rally in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh she asserted that nearly 63,000 government posts are vacant in the state, as the ruling BJP has no intention of giving employment, hence the posts are not being filled-up.

She stressed that the main issues in the Legislative Assembly elections in the state are unemployment and inflation, but these are being neglected by the ruling party.

Gandhi Vadra, also tweeted ahead of the assembly polls in the state, that on coming to power in the state, the Congress will ensure that women will get Rs 1,500 per month establishment of 272 English medium schools across the state and mobile clinics to connect all villages,village-village mobile clinics, old pension scheme for government employees and decision of giving one lakh jobs to youth would be taken in the first cabinet.
