The Kali Puja is organised by Torsha United Club, which has members of both the communities and their puja is on the lines of the grandeur for which Kali Puja is known for its celebration in West Bengal.

The Torsha United Club’s Kali Puja is an attraction people from other villages and towns, with thousands visiting the pandal every year.

Muslim and Hindu members of the club share the responsibilities and also go house to house to collect voluntary contribution to take care of the expenditure. Members of both the religions make financial contribution, in the decoration, bringing of the Kali idol and preparation and distribution of prasad.

The villagers are confident that their communal unity cannot be damaged by those interested in creating communal strife in the country.
