Youth protest in different cities in Maharashtra
demanding conduction of MPSC examination
#Aspirants of Maharashtra Public Service Commission examination have started protesting against the postponement of the examination in the light of the increase in the COVID 19 cases in the state.
Aspiratnss n Pune, Kolhapur, Aurangabad and Nagpur have come out on the streets in huge numbers in these cities and districts in large numbers, demanding that the State Service Preliminary examination should not be postponed from the scheduled date of March 14, 2021.
This examination was to be held on October 11, 2020, but was postponed as a result of protests by the Maratha community demanding reservation for it in government jobs.
Not merely, the Bharatiya Janata Party, the opposition party in the state, but also ruling Congress party’s leader Satyajeet Tambe had flayed the government for postponing the examination.
Leader of the Opposition in the state Legislative Council Pravin Darekar has appealed to the Government not to ‘play with the careers’ of the youth.
