Muslim boy beaten for drinking 'Hindu' water

The communal divide has reached such an extent in some parts of the country that now water also has a religion.

In a shocking incident, a 12-year-old boy was beaten up mercilessly. The boy’s “crime” was that he is a Muslim and he drank water from a temple.

A video of the incident has gone viral on the social media. The video shows a man initially hugging the boy and asking him his and his father’s name. On learning that the boy is a Muslim, the man started beating him and continued to do so, even as the boy fell on the floor.

The video reached Ghaziabad police, who tracked down the man who beat the boy and arrested him. The man has been identified as Shringi Nandan Yadav, a resident of Gopalpur, Bihar.
