Son donates Rs 2.51 lakh to PMCARES, mother dies as no bed for her

An Ahmedabad resident has tweeted asking how much money he should done to PMCARES fund, ‘to reserve berth for the 3rd wave’ so that he does not lose any more members.

Vijay Rameshbhai Parikh, of Ahmedabad lost his mother to COVID, because he could not get a bed for her. Parikh had donated Rs 2.51 lakh to PMCARES fund on July 20, 2020.

Parikh’s tweet says, “Donation of 251k couldn’t ensure bed for my dying mother. Pls advise how much more should I donate to reserve berth for the 3rd wave so I don’t lose any more members..”

He has tagged PMOIndia, Rajnath Singh, RSS, Smriti Irani and Rashtrapati Bhavan to his tweet.
