Ajay Jadeja dumps garbage in Goa village, fined Rs 5,000

Former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja, has been fined Rs 5,000 for dumping garbage in Nachinola village, according to village sarpanch Trupti Bandodkar.

According to Bandokar, Jadeja owns a bunglow in Aldona village in North Goa and he was charged for dumping garbage in the neighbouring Nachinola village. Jadeja is said to have paid the fine, without any protest.

The Mizoram Government has sought the Centre’s intervention in lifting the “economic blockade” staged by the people of Barak Valley in Assam, following the bloody clash on Monday, on the inter-state boundary, which claimed seven lives, including six of Assam Police personnel. Over 50 persons were injured in the clashes.
