Farmers hold black flag demonstrations
Farmers demanding the withdrawal of the three farm laws introduced by the Union Government today held black flag demonstrations today, to mark the completion of six months of their agitation on the boundaries of Delhi and the failure of the government to withdraw the farm laws.
Those who could not join the protests at the Delhi boundaries hoisted black flags on their homes, work places and vehicles. Men wore black turbans and women wore black duppata, in support of their demands.
The Delhi police had appealed to the protesting framers to follow COVID protocols. Thirteen major opposition parties in the country have expressed their support to the protesting farmers and the black flag demonstration.
Farmers and members of the Uttar Pradesh unit of Communist Party of India (Marxist) held black flag demonstrations in support of the farmers and against the government.
